Auburn Outdoors Trips Even You Can Handle

If you’ve never exactly been the outdoorsy type, you’re not alone. But it’s never too late to expand your horizons.

If you’re like me and looking to do just that, these Auburn Outdoors trips might just be perfect for you! They’re low-cost (for us broke college students) and give the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature without branching too far out of your comfort zone.

March 29, 3–9 p.m.

Enjoy the sunset on beautiful Lake Martin, while kayaking. If your kayaking experience is minimal, don’t worry. It’s just a leisurely paddle.

Backcountry Cooking Workshops
April 5, 5–7:30 p.m.

Tired of only knowing how to cook ramen and grilled cheeses? For only five dollars, learn cooking skills you can take outdoors or just back to your apartment. The food is delicious, and yes, dessert is included.

Cassie studies public relations and marketing. She feels pretty #blessed she gets to tweet and blog in her studies and her job.

Personality? Cassie’s a mix of an ENFJ & ENFP. She has just enough "J" to keep her life together but enough "P" to keep things interesting. She’s pretty much always up for an adventure...unless it's nap time.

Cassie loves people, traveling, food…and most recently, running (it’s a love/hate relationship). If she’s not going from one meeting to another, you’ll probably find her circling The Rec’s track (entirely too many times) training for her next race.
