Give Back at the BIG Event

Give Back at the BIG Event
To move forward, you have to give back.
— Oprah Winfrey

And this semester you finally have the chance to give back, BIG time.

On March 23, Auburn University students are coming together for the BIG Event

The BIG Event is a student-led service project that focuses on giving back to the Auburn community. Since 2003, the community service project has been a vessel for hundreds of Auburn students to work with Auburn and Opelika communities and perform basic service tasks for households, businesses, churches and other organizations.

It’s a small, but impactful way of saying thank you to the people who make Auburn such a great community to live in.

The event is held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, but don’t let the early wakeup call keep you from getting involved. Many Auburn students who have been involved in the past say it is “truly the best service project” they’ve been a part of.

But don’t take their word for it. Sign up, and see for yourself.

Register to volunteer now until February 28th.

As always,

Be well, Auburn.
