Places to Eat

With its famous eats and Instagram-worthy brunch spots, Music City’s food scene does not dissapoint. Here are some of the most iconic restaurants you should check out.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken

If you love spicy food, Nashville hot chicken is a must! You’ll find it offered at plenty of restaurants, but Hattie B’s is our top pick.

White Limozeen

Located on the rooftop of the Graduate Hotel, White Limozeen is Nashville’s most photo-worthy brunch spot. It’s vibrant, full of pink décor, and even has a Dolly Parton statue made from pink chicken wire. What more could you want?

AVO

AVO is our favorite spot for plant-based, tasty cuisine. When you visit, make sure to order the kimchi spring rolls and snap a picture at their avocado wall. You’ll thank me later!

ACME Feed and Seed

Get the full Nashville experience while dining at ACME Feed and Seed. They’ve got live music, southern eats, and are located in the heart of downtown.

Where to Stay

Nashville has an endless amount of charming Airbnb’s and boutique hotels. Make your stay even more memorable by booking one of these great places for the weekend. The Graduate Hotel offers a boutique lodging experience to enhance your Nashville stay. The Moxy Nashville Downtown is another trendy hotel downtown and has a second location near Vanderbilt at a slightly lower price point. If you’re traveling on a budget, we recommend booking an Airbnb like this one

Things to Do

With all of the fun happening in Music City, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone to enjoy. Here are a few of our favorites.

5th and Broadway

5th and Broadway is Nashville’s newest shopping and dining center. It features a variety of retail stores and a food hall with options ranging from Shake Shack to Le Macaron.

Photo walls

You can’t leave Music City without a picture from one of the iconic photo walls. Check out a map of them here.

Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social is the perfect afternoon or evening hangout spot. They have a retro bowling alley, card games, and some of the tastiest eats. Stop by during the summer and enjoy their outdoor pool and patio. The best part: parking is always free!

Be well, Auburn.

Photography: Various Sources

Originally from Nashville, Jordan came down to Auburn to enjoy the beauty of The Plains and to learn the true meaning of War Eagle (which she still does not know). She’s currently a sophomore studying spanish international trade, and has passions ranging from marketing to health and fashion.

Jordan enjoys weightlifting, a good podcast, and will never turn down a hike with her friends. Her favorite way to start the day is with a workout, nutritious breakfast, and cup of iced coffee. She loves living a fast-paced life, and hopes to reside in a big city after her time at Auburn (dogs included). She’s eager for the future, but for now, is enjoying living in the moment.
