Oh snap! Just like that, the fall semester is gone and spring is here.
Each new semester comes with its own brand new set of adventures, challenges and shenanigans. However, there are a few things we can always count on when the spring semester arrives.
When you turn in your last final and realize winter break is finally here.
But you quickly remember there’s not much to do for a month back home.
Then Christmas finally arrives and it’s time for holiday parties.
And you keep getting the dreaded questions about your future from relatives.
Then, just like that, the break is over.
And it’s time to get back into school mode.
Showing up to class on the first day in the new clothes you got for Christmas.
When your professor assigns homework during syllabus week.
And attendance is mandatory for your 8 a.m. lecture.
Two weeks into the semester, you get tired of trying and go back to your “regular attire.”
Trying to figure out what to do with your weekends since football is over.
When all of your friends start making spring break plans.
So you decide to head to the gym to get “spring break ready.”
Checking your grades right before finals.
When finals roll around and the all-nighters begin.
But you try to remain calm because you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
And you somehow manage to pull it out at the end thanks to your professor’s weird grading curve.
Before you know it, the semester is over and summer break is here!
Have a great spring semester, and as always,
Be well, Auburn.
