Fourth Of July Trip Ideas

The 4th of July is just around the corner

Whether you are looking for an action-packed 4th or just a chill weekend, look no further. I’ve culminated a list of near and far Independence Day adventures you won’t soon forget!

Lake Martin

If you want to stay close to home, Lake Martin is a perfect place to spend the holiday. Whether you want to swim, go out on a boat, or just enjoy the scenery, Lake Martin has it all. Even if you don’t have property there or know someone who you can join, Lake Martin has public beaches that are accessible to the public where you can pull up to join in the festivities

Disney World

The Most Magical Place on Earth comes to life every year for the nation’s birthday. Though it certainly isn’t a hidden gem when it comes to any holiday, even just enjoying the atmosphere is a treat. Witness some of the most fantastic firework displays you have ever seen and embrace your inner child while having the time of your life.

Washington D.C.

There is nowhere more patriotic than the nation’s capital to celebrate Independence Day. Find yourself immersed in world class museums and views that will only be heightened by a fantastic display of fireworks. Find just about any food you could think of and have a picnic on the National Mall or find a hidden gem in the Capitol Hill neighborhood!

30A

The beach is always a good idea, and nothing says Fourth of July quite like the salt and the sand. At 30A, Florida you can enjoy the sun and the sand and watch fireworks over the ocean.

Pinehurst

If you are hoping to mix southern town charm with golf community, Southern Pines just might be your vibe. The host of the 2024 US Open tournament offers many golf courses from the famed Pinehurst No. 2 course that hosted the event to the several dozen other courses in the area.

Seattle

If you are looking for a west coast vibe for your Fourth of July, Seattle is a fantastic city to visit. Though they are famous for their rainy weather, summers in Seattle actually have lots of warm sunny days. Visit the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market and enjoy Washington’s largest city.

Be Well, Auburn.
